All of this is true, SH, but I also find it intriguing he was not happy with the lack of real work he was getting in the show. I should say, stating in these articles he was unhappy about the lack of real material for him in the show.
If the articles are quoting him directly, it also puts a different spin on what McGill and Mendekssohn were saying too. Sort of giving him a last hurrah with the story arc this last season and he would go quietly. No I don't know any of that is true but I am wondering if we are being given any of
what really happened and it's certainly in his interest to allow people to think he had some say, fwiw. I also think it's very like him to still give credit for the salary he made, which now allows him to work at what he wants to without worrying about ''all the money making aspect'' of his job. (Wasn't that one of the quotes attributed to him?)
